About JT

Two honorary degrees from both Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology as well as Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. That is what John Taylor (JT) has developed these skills extensively from since the late 1980's. After his first wedding video production in 1990, he has been passionate for the art of videography. With the constant changes and advancement from analog to digital mediums, it has been an exciting time right up to today's technology. Always learning new software and hardware for video applications, it has never been work for JT, but a constant passion to advance year by year. He is a post-modernist, embracing digital and computer technology as the only and best thing for the twenty-first century world of digital media. He is a self-learner of many different evolving softwares, hardwares, and internet technologies. To him it is the best and only education when passion for an art can only lead to perseverance evolving through this labour or love. He has worked for Maclean Hunter and Rogers Television, starting up from volunteer community cable work in Brampton from 1990. Since 1999, he has worked for The Shopping Channel as a Camera Operator and Audio Director for live television broadcasting coast-to-coast. Being married since 1992 and having his spouse become an assistant editor and video previewer, she has been something of a muse to support his constant and tireless pursuit for perfect and unique works of art.
